ANOTHER HOUR TO COME???
I only had two thoughts when watching the first hour of Skating With Celebrities' finale (the first hour was padded as hell and they need another hour to finish this sucker off???)
How did Jillian Barbieri and John Zimmerman actually manage to get worse since the first episode (where they were clearly the best)?
And, under the circumstances, am I the only one creeped out by John Nicks, Dorothy Hamill and Mark Lund gushing on and on about Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler's suddenly potent chemistry?
(On an episode of one of my favorite shows, The Simpsons, Bart slows down a videotape so that Lisa can see the exact moment when she breaks Ralph Wiggum's heart. I wonder, if we slow down SwC, can we catch the exact moment when Lloyd forgot about his pregnant wife and toddler son and decided to nail Kristy?)

Don't know about the judges but I loved Bruce Jenner's quote about Kristy and Lloyd in People. "According to one source on the set, the pairs away-from-the-rink relationship was an open secret....Well, not to everyone. "I just noticed that they got really good (at skating)." says Jenner. "I never knew anything until I saw it on the news." Gotta love that Bruce! Denise

I'm sorta like Bruce. When I worked the 1998 Olympics half the TV staff was secretly sleeping with the other half, and I would only become aware of it when someone told me point blank. Other people's business is rarely my concern. (Of course, that doesn't mean that, once I became aware of it, I didn't stuff the gossip into my novels... under fake names, of course ;)

True that it's none of my business who Lloyd bangs, but I personally do not like spouses who cheat - sorry Lloyd, and it's my business what skaters/celebrities I choose to support. Lloyd, you're now in the same league as Alexander Zulin and Pasha Upchuck!

I agree with all of you. Jillian Barberie is obviously a superior skater to Kristy Swanson (sp?). And now they are getting good? They've never been as good as Jillian & John. I can't tell you how seriously I don't want Lloyd & Kristy to win! Remember just a few weeks ago when Kristy said Lloyd was like a brother to her?

Come'on folks, let's not turn this into something personal! Who Lloyd chooses to sleep with is his own business... believe me, he is NOT the first to get caught up in an affair it's just that the tabloids are making such a big deal out of it and making it public!!
Not only that... his wife admitted on national t.v. that they were having difficulties in their marriage and were actually separated in August. They got back together to try to work things out but obviously they didn't work. SH** Happens!!
